Wir beglückwünschen die kommunistischen und Arbeiterparteien, die am kommenden Samstag, den 18. November in Athen die Europäische Kommunistische Aktion gründen werden.

Nachdem wir den ersten Schock der Auflösung der Europäischen Kommunistische Initiative (ECI) verdauten, mussten wir erkennen, dass die Auflösung und erneute Sammlung der fortschrittlichen Kräfte der Internationalen Kommunistischen Bewegung alternativlos geworden ist. Um die revolutionäre Sache voran zu bringen bedarf es ideologischer Klarheit. Auch wenn die aktuelle Spaltung schmerzhaft ist und durchaus tiefe Wunden hinterlassen hat, ist sie notwendig und wird unsere Sache weiter nach vorne bringen.

Wir wünschen ein gutes Gelingen und senden kämpferische Grüße an alle teilnehmenden Genossinnen und Genossen und Parteien, und hoffen auf eine zukünftige, gute Zusammenarbeit.

We congratulate the communist and workers' parties that will found the European Communist Action in Athens next Saturday, 18 November.

After the first shock of the dissolution of the European Communist Initiative (ECI), we had to realise that the dissolving and regathering of the progressive forces of the International Communist Movement has become without alternative. Ideological clarity is needed to advance the revolutionary cause. Even if the current split is painful and has left deep wounds, it is necessary and will advance our cause.

We wish you every success and send fighting greetings to all participating comrades and parties, and hope for good co-operation in the future.
